 CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE 

Chronic renal failure is the end stage of many different renal diseases. It is character-ized pathologically by bilaterally shrunken kidneys. Clinically, it causes progressive irreversible azotemia, normocytic anemia, platelet dysfunction, renal osteodystro-phy, and hypertension.
